Terms of Service

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms cover your use of WantToGo. They are meant to be read, so they are as short as we can honestly make them.

Who operates WantToGo

WantToGo is operated by an individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine, on servers hosted in the European Union. You can reach us at i@wanttogo.app.

Our full registered details, and the governing law and dispute resolution clause these terms will carry, are still to be finalised and will be published here before WantToGo begins charging for subscriptions. Nothing on this page removes the consumer protections you have under the law where you live.

Who may use it

You need to be at least 16 years old. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian to consent for someone of your age, you need that consent first. Please give accurate details when you register.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and treat activity under your account as your own. Tell us at i@wanttogo.app if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time from the You screen.

What WantToGo provides

WantToGo is a travel planning tool. It builds a day-by-day itinerary for a destination and dates you choose, using an AI model together with place information from Google, and it keeps that plan useful while you travel and after you return.

WantToGo is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking service. It does not sell, book or arrange flights, accommodation, tickets or tours, and it does not act as anyone's agent. Any booking you make happens elsewhere, directly with that provider, under their terms.

AI-generated plans, and their limits

Itineraries are produced by an AI model and assembled from third-party place data. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Opening hours, prices, closures, seasonal schedules, transport, entry requirements and local conditions all change, and a generated plan can describe a place inaccurately.

Treat a WantToGo plan as a well-informed suggestion rather than a verified schedule. Before you rely on anything that matters — travel documents and visas, health requirements, insurance, transport times, reservations, accessibility or safety — confirm it with the official or primary source. The decisions about your trip remain yours.

Place information, maps and reviews

Place details, photographs, ratings and reviews come from Google, and maps come from Mapbox. That material belongs to those providers and is subject to their terms. We pass it on as we receive it: we do not verify it independently, and showing a place is not an endorsement of it.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use WantToGo to break the law, or to harm or harass anyone.
  • Don't try to disrupt the service, overload it, or gain access to parts of it or to accounts that aren't yours.
  • Don't scrape or bulk-extract content, and don't resell or republish what the service produces as a competing product.
  • Don't use anyone else's account, or share yours.

Generating itineraries is expensive to run, so we apply reasonable usage limits to keep the service available and affordable for everyone.

Availability and changes

We work to keep WantToGo available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the product develops. If a change would materially reduce what a paid subscription provides, we will say so in advance.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit or close an account that breaches these terms or creates a risk to the service or to other people. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you first and explain why. You may stop using WantToGo and delete your account whenever you like.

Paid subscriptions

WantToGo does not charge for anything today. We plan to introduce a paid subscription, and when we do:

  • The price, the currency and the billing period will be shown clearly before you pay anything.
  • A subscription recurs until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • We do not routinely refund part of a period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, and by whatever rights the law where you live gives you.
  • Payment will be handled by a third-party payment provider, whose own terms will apply to the payment itself.

We will update these terms, and this page, before any charging begins.

Your content, and ours

Your journeys, notes and preferences are yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store that content, process it, show it back to you, and send the relevant trip details to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy so a plan can be generated. Itineraries WantToGo produces for you are yours to use for your own travel.

WantToGo itself — the software, the design and the brand — remains ours, and these terms transfer none of it to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, WantToGo is provided as it is, and we are not liable for losses that follow from travel decisions you make using it — a missed connection, a closed attraction, a cancelled booking or a cost arising from inaccurate place information.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply where you live.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will make it clear here before it takes effect.
